Steamboat days

I decided to head down to Steamboat days and see if I could find anything interesting. I made a few good images with superb light just before dusk. It’s interesting how candid carnies become when they notice a camera. They all keep asking, “why don’t you come and highlight me?”

I usually just shrug and continue on.

    Are you associated with the Solberg photography of Decorah, IA, which did many portraits at the turn of the century (1900)? I am trying to find if there are any names recorded.

    No I’m not. Solberg seems to be a popular name around this area and I’m asked constantly if I’m related to others. Were any of these portraits published?
