Brady and I hopped in his car and went in the marshland to see what we could find. It included birds of various kinds, a broken down trailer and superb lighting. He just purchased a 300mm f/2.8 and we put it to good use as you can see by the photo of the moon. I particularly like the shot of Brady framed in the window of the trailer.

It was a beautiful pattern of clouds with a sunset. Even though they get old I couldn’t pass up some great sunset photos.

I decided to head out and pursue some night photography since I finally have a tripod on hand. I shot RAW files using my Rebel XT because I have a shutter release for it. If I want to use my 40D, which would be nice, I’d have to rig something since the shutter release for the Rebel won’t fit the 40D. I’ll purchase one soon.

The lighting for this game was superb. Just before sundown you get the best soft lighting you can get.

Winona beat Colorado Christian 78-45 to raise their record to 33-1 for the season. The game was good, but not visually entertaining.

Winona is hosting the NCAA Division II tournament this weekend. I decided to show up to the game prior to WSU vs Colorado Christian. The game was visually interesting and I came away with some great shots. One person in particular was the subject of most of them.
